Kate Robson Therapy

How we will work together

What will our sessions look like? That depends on you and your needs. Typically, our first session will be an opportunity for you to share who you are, what brings you to therapy, and what matters most to you.

As we work together, we will revisit these topics often, as our shared understanding of past events deepens. Over time, we will also develop a vocabulary that allows us to understand your story and your way forward.

Frequency of Visits

How often we meet is totally up to you. Many of my clients begin with weekly sessions and then move to biweekly or monthly sessions.

A Paperless Practice

I run a paperless practice, so before our first session, I will send you online forms which we can discuss when we meet. My invoices and receipts are also sent electronically as well.

Where We Can Meet

Virtually:  I do secure video or phone sessions based on your preference.
In Person: I have limited in-person availability at my office in downtown Toronto.

My Location

My office is located at College and Bathurst, close to Kensington Market. It is easily accessible by transit (streetcar or bus). Green P and street parking are available nearby. Babies are most welcome.

Accessibility

The building where my office is located has an elevator and a ramp. Doors are not all automatic and currently there is no wheelchair accessible bathroom. If this is a barrier, please let me know and we'll find a solution.
